My presentation as part of the final 10 in the Trans-Tasman Competition 2015
In 2015, I competed in the Three Minute thesis competition. In this event I had to effectively explain my research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience, using only one PowerPoint slide, but no other resources or props.
I placed within the top 10 of 50 universities competing in the multi-national Trans-Tasman 3MT competition held at the University of Queensland. To reach this event, I had won heats at both the school and faculty level in my own university. Ultimately I become both the judges and people’s choice champion at the University of Adelaide, the first student to win both accolades.
